Coding provides fun and educational opportunities for students to practice the design process, algorithmic thinking, and clear communication which are all part of the ISTE Standards for students. Participants will explore elementary coding lessons that are compatible with Chromebooks and will also discover an easy way to organize coding resources using Google Sites. This session will include an introduction to the resources and a hands-on lab where participants will have time to try out digital lessons as well as code some real robots like the Bee-bot, Pro-bot and Tuff-bot.
